Meet the TXINS Team – David Green

David GreenDavid Green joined the Traditions Insurance team almost a year ago and has done a fantastic job keeping our crop clients up to date on the latest crop insurance information.

He brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and if he doesn’t know something, he’s quick to find out. He is described by his co-workers as kind, easy going, and great to work with.

We’ve enjoyed having him on our team and appreciate his hard work!

1. How long have you been with TXINS?

I started at TXINS in November 2016 so I’m coming up on my first anniversary next month.

2. What is your favorite thing about working for TXINS?

I like the people I work with. I also like being able to help people. When Harvey came through, it brought so much wind and rain.

Many of our customers had damage to their crops, mostly cotton. We’ve been busy filing claims and filling out the correct paperwork for each client to get them taken care of.

3. Do you have any hobbies?

I enjoy dove and duck hunting and tend to stay around the El Campo area. It gives me the opportunity to get out of town and just enjoy God’s creation. I also get to visit with friends I usually haven’t seen in some time.

4. Tell us about your family.

I’ve been married to my wife, Lisa, for 28 years. I have two children, Taylor and Casey, and a miniature Schnauzer named Kriket. My daughter, Taylor, is 24, was married last year, and is a teacher in San Angelo. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2015.

My son, Casey, is 19, is a combat medic in the Army’s 82nd Airborne and is stationed in Ft. Bragg, NC. He joined the Army on January 2 of this year and hasn’t been home yet. We miss him but are very proud of him.

5. What are some of your favorite things?

I love watching the Houston Texans. For food, nothing’s better than a big bowl of chili and rice.

7. What types of movies do you like to watch?

I like any movie with Clint Eastwood in it.

8. If you had 3 wishes, what would you wish for?

I only have one. I wish everyone I know and love to be healthy.
